Survival Swim
Our Survival Swim program is a 4-6 week tailored course designed for babies and toddlers to learn life-saving self-rescue skills in the event of an aquatic emergency. This program focuses on essential water survival techniques while building confidence in the water from an early age.
Upon completing the program, students graduate into our “Fun Day” Group Classes, where they can continue developing their skills in a fun and engaging environment!

gUPPY cLASS
-
The Guppy class is designed for infants aged 6 to 13 months. This program focuses on teaching essential water survival skills to prepare them for safety in the water and future swim training.
In this class, infants will learn to:
Roll over from a face-down or submerged position onto their back.
Relax and breathe while floating on their back, even when fully clothed.
We highly recommend this class as preparation for the Otter class. Infants who complete the Guppy class tend to progress faster in mastering the Swim-Float-Swim sequence when they move to the next level.
After completing the Guppy class, students graduate to our "Fun Day Baby" group classes, held once a week for 30 minutes. They remain in these group classes until they are old enough to join the Otter class, where they can continue advancing their skills.
oTTER cLASS
-
The Otter class is designed for toddlers and young children aged 15 months to 6 years. This program focuses on teaching the life-saving Swim-Float-Swim sequence, which equips children with essential water survival skills.
In this class, children will learn to:
Swim a short distance with their face fully submerged.
Roll onto their back to float and rest when they need to breathe.
Flip back onto their tummy to continue swimming to safety, even while fully clothed.
While we highly recommend taking the Guppy class during the crawling stage as preparation, it is not a requirement for joining the Otter class.
After completing this program, we encourage students to join our "Fun Day" group classes, held once a week for 30 minutes. These group classes provide an opportunity for children to continue building their skills by swimming farther, diving for toys, and learning to swim alongside peers of similar age and ability.
Fun Day Group Classes
-
Fun Day Group Classes are the perfect next step for children who have completed our Guppy or Otter private lessons. These weekly 30 min classes provide an opportunity for children to build on their water safety skills, gain confidence, and have fun in a group setting.
In Fun Day Group Classes, your child will:
Retain and refine their swim skills from Guppy and Otter lessons.
Boost their confidence as they practice new techniques and build endurance.
Develop strength and stamina through engaging and interactive activities.
Enjoy social interaction and teamwork in a positive, small-group environment (3-4:1 student-to-teacher ratio).
These classes are not just about maintaining skills—they’re about helping your child grow into a strong, confident, and capable swimmer. Whether practicing Swim-Float-Swim, diving for toys, or mastering new techniques, your child will make steady progress while having fun with peers.
Fun Day Group Classes help your child’s skills grow with them, providing the foundation for continued success in the water.
